We were looking for some Bloodroot in bloom, but most were not quite there.

We found Star Chickweed.
There was a lot of Rue Anemone.  Later we found some Wood Anemone also.
Finally found some Bloodroot open.
Some Trillium were almost in bloom.
We saw very few Violets, yet.
The coltsfoot was almost out.
I could not resist this one.
There is another Bloodroot.  You might have guessed it is one of my favorite Spring Wildflowers.
This is the only bunch of blue Violets I saw.
We also found some Golden Ragwort and Cutleaf Toothwort not quite in bloom.  We saw Lousewort (Jim, you missed it) and Trout-Lily both of which had a ways to go yet before blooming.

I went out to KSF again a couple of days later (04/08/08) and found a lot more flowers opened up.

Now the coltsfoot are flowering
